Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard is likely to return from the playoffs.

Local media, including "ESPN," quoted the club's announcement on the 18th (Korea Standard Time), saying Lillard was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and is no longer taking blood clotting prevention drugs.

"We are all thrilled with his news. Our top priority is always his health. We thank the team's medical staff for their early diagnosis and treatment of his symptoms and the Mayo Clinic, a world-renowned blood clot treatment organization. Every step Lillard has undergone has been directed and processed by world-class medical experts, which has allowed him to return to the court safely and healthily," Bucks general manager John Host said in a statement.

The timing of his return has yet to be determined. The Milwaukee Brewers said Lillard will "continue to increase the intensity of his training on the court."

ESPN quoted a source as saying that the first round of the first round of the playoffs against the Indiana Pacers, which will be held this weekend, will not come out for now.

Lillard has been sidelined since March 19 in an away game at Golden State due to thrombosis. And he was declared completely cured in a month.
Citing sources, ESPN reported that medical staff told Bucks officials that Lillard's recovery was so fast that it had never been seen before. Early detection and treatment are known to have played a major role. 안전놀이터

In an interview with local media, Doc Rivers said, "It could have been a disease that threatened his career. Just because he had a good chance to return to the playoffs, God helped him."

Milwaukee did well without Lillard. In his last 14 games, he performed well with 10 wins and 4 losses.

However, it is different in the playoffs. Lillard's presence in 65 games and averaging 26.1 points in the playoffs alone is not easily replaced. His return will be a big boost for Milwaukee.
